The extended essay is an independent, self-directed piece of research, culminating in a 4,000-word paper. As a part of the International Baccalaureate programme offered at Colonel By Secondary School, all IB 1 students are expected to write this essay. This website is created as a resource for IB 1 students and their parents in order to track the progress of the essay during its development.

- Type in your last name in the "Password" field.
i.e. "smith" if your name is John Smith. Note: All lower-cased.
- Names with an apostrophe, please omit the apostrophe and keep lower-cased.
- Hyphenated names follow this format, i.e. both names are lower-cased: "smith-johnson".
- Please note, all passwords are lower-cased.
